Are you referring to Cuora trifasciata?
umm, I'm not sure... lol sorry. :-/
It's a Chinese 3 Keeled Pond Turtle...

turtlegirl,
looks like a reeves to me, not cuora or pyxidea.
did you follow the links i sent in the other post (gen forum) to ID the turtle?
Yeah, I looked at the links in the General Turtle Forum.
I also think it looks like a Chinemeys reevesi, but it also sort of resembles the Pyxidea mouhotti
So far for a setup, I have a 50 gallon filled with moist wood chops and sphagnum moss, (he seems to like digging in the substrate) and a large pan on one end of the setup filled with water that he can get it... does this sound ok or does he need more water?
Thanks!

Well, Chinemys reevsei and Cuora mouhotii require very different captive husbandry. I think we need to get a positive ID on your turtle before making any suggestions on setup requirements. Reeve's turtles are aquatic pond turtles and Cuora mouhotii is largely a terrestrial species similar in requirements to some North American box turtles.
The common name, 3 keeled pond turtle, is not a correct common name. C. mouhotii is sometimes refered to as the keeled box turtle.
chinese three keeled pond turtle is also known as reeve's turtle (chinemys reevesii) or so called "pearl turtles" as some pet shops would label it. There is a care sheet available on this species at The WCT page :-
