the big one is Pete the cowdog(he herds my neibors cows, but tears up thier ears,we're trying to break him of that, but we never intended for him to herd, however,we didn't exactly have to teach him)the little blonde leggy supermodel princess is his daughter,Gertrude(or Gerty,I did NOT name her!)my neibor is my great grandad, and we share land, the dogs wander over both of our properties, and we co-own them

What a sweet looking face. How old are your RR's?

Pete's about 7-8 years old,Gerty's maybe 6 months??(she's getting her adult teeth,we've had her since she started getting weaned, her mother was literally starving to death and had lost her teeth,Gerty didn't have much of her baby teeth in yet,but ate Pete's food,so we mixed dry with milk replacer, might have been a bit early for that, but her mother died quickly while we were trying to rehabilitate her)I'm not sure, right now my great grandad(we share land, and Gerty)feeds her 4 times a day,but her feet are bigger than Pete's,and she still eats whatever she can get a hold of(including getting tangled up in a fig tree eating figs!)we're worried that due to her mom's mixed ancestry that she might end up being huge, but the ridge gives away Pete's paternety,I'm usually not for dogs in the country not being fixed, but since I share Gerty,I'm getting money together to try and get her fixed before time for her first heat
the games these two make up show for some seriouse goofball intelligence!

Have you been able to get her to a vet or clinic to see what other type health issue she might have?

I've tried to,she's got a rash right now that we are concerned about, but my great grandads like "oh,thats what Pete had, she'll outgrow it",somehow I doubt it...I'm trying to get a job right now,if it works out,I might be able to get her a ride, but if she doesn't do well in a car,I'll have to get her in a taxi myself, and with me living a LONG way from town(well, when I'm not in the dorm)that'll cost a small fortune,Peanuts going back to the vet when her thyroid pills run out,if we can find a crate for Gerty(she has a prey drive,if it's small and sqeaky,it's lunch)I could try to drag her along, but again,it'll still be a challenge to convince the ones who drive cars around here
