does feeding a 7 week old boxer puppy 1/2 cup of dry puppy food with a little warm water sound ok. or should it be 1/2 cup 4 times a day? or 1 cup 3 times a day? not really sure what would be best. i posted this message under canine nutrition but no one has responded.

Where did you get your puppy from? What did the breeder tell you?
Usually people feed pups at least three times a day. The amount depends on the size of your pup. I would ask your vet.

we havent brought the puppy home yet. i'm just trying to get a jump start so i can be prepared.
