Isn't PAWS the Progressive Animal Welfare Society? Haven't heard anything about them in so long I didn't think they existed any more.

PAWS is a bill introduced by Sen. Richard Santorum of PA that will force home breeders to accept federal inspections if the have more than 6 litters or sell more than 25 dogs or cats in a calendar year. While at first it may seem like a good thing, it is a poorly written bill that is trying to be fastracked into passing.
