sad story about my Viv.

Adamsanity Oct 09, 2003 04:51 PM

So My vivarium was set up for about 8 months and finally my fern spores had begun to grow into substantial plants. Moss was starting to take over the backfround and it was looking very nice.
So in it lived one frog a juvy. Auratus. in another tank I had two adult auratus. I decided that they would like to move to the bigger nicer vivarium. So a week after I put them in there the male finds some way to get behind the background.
The sad end is that I had to take the whole thing apart to get him out and now all I have is an empty tank.

well as a side not if anyone wants to trade some tads with me I have auratus tads I'm willing to trade. I would like to trade for cobalt tinc tads if anyone has any, but feel free to contact me with other frogs too!

Thats rough, my imitators are constanly finding places to get into, nothing to really worry about in my case, but when they want to hide they sure do it well.

O man, that really sucks! You had a beautiful tank, what did you use for a background?
Tough luck.

I did this about 3 times before getting smart and filling all background gaps with coco-fiber. Those little buggers can get in anywhere. Better luck.
