There is a new law in Old Orchard that is really stupuid.
Dogs are not allowed out on public roads from 7 am to 3am.
How the heck is any one suppose to walk their dog?

I think you mean 7 am - 3 pm?
That is horrendous. I would petition it. Who ever passed that ordinance obviously has NEVER had a dog. That is really just outrageous! My husband and I take turns coming home at lunch to let the dog out... what would we do if he wasnt allowed on the road... he would have to pee in the house, because we live in a city and have no lawn...
I hope that there will be some kind of action to change this!

Nope I mean 7am to 3am (early morning hours).
I read the sign again the other day and I guess it's just for down town. And we can walk them around this road and stuff. But what about all the people that live in that area. And I guess it doesn't include the beach so the dogs just aren't allowed on the beach from 10am to 5pm.
So it's not as bad as I first thought.

That's crazy, Jaime. Do you think that this law is aimed at those who let their dogs run free? If it is, these folks probably won't pay any attention to it.

I gues there have been a lot of pit bulls running around lose down there. Like that law is going to help that. On the fourth I had Mya down there we were walking across the square and they told us we had to go back to the beach. Yet they didn't say anything to people that were walking their small dogs and labs. I don't think that is fair at all. I have trained Mya to be a gental dog. She would never hurt any one. Just because she looks sort of like a pitt or rotti mix doesn't mean she is not a good dog. Some times this town really irritates me.
