Mystery Dog--- Anyone know which breed this is?

leeza123 Aug 16, 2005 08:05 AM

Hello,

I saw a couple of pictures of a dog on (of all places!) my husband's car forum and no one seemed to know which kind of dog it was... I found it to be irresistible and would love to find out the breed and how I may go about making one my own... Looks like a small toy dog, very fluffy, like a Pomeranian... but also had features like a racoon! Are there any good sites I can go to to search for a breed I don't have the name for?

Any leads are greatly appreciated!
I have two pictures but no place to post them to add the URL.

Oh my, Leeza, it sure is a cutie but I have no idea what it might be. Perhaps if it was a little older I might have a clue. The paws aren't very big so perhaps it's not going to be too big a dog.

Hi Leeza!

That sure is a cute looking pup!! I'm thinking the pup might be a Keeshond or perhaps a Keeshond mix of some kind.

Hi,
It is a Pomerianian, to the best of my knowledge. You can tell by the ears. They are rounded and at the top of the head. Keeshound would be my secound quess, but there ears are slightly more triangular and normally not the whitish color coat. I would say Pomerianian. Jen
