Click to Calm: Healing the Aggressive Dog - Special Guest Chat!

PHChristy Aug 21, 2005 05:44 PM

Permission given to crosspost.

We hope you'll join us on Friday, August 26, at 10 PM ET for a very exciting guest chat with special guest Emma Parsons, B.A. Emma is the Canine Behavior Training Consultant for the VCA Rotherwood Animal Hospital as well as the Training Director for Karen Pryor's Clicker Training. Currently she has just published a book, Click to Calm: Healing the Aggressive Dog, on how clicker training can dramatically reduce canine aggression in dogs.

This chat is presented in association with the wonderful DogRead email list, owned by Kathy Diamond Davis, where Emma just wrapped up her guest stint.

I'm afraid I won't be able to make it as I have to be at work for 5am on Saturday morning, but afterward could someone give me the general idea of what went on? It sounds like some of it could be helpful with Kaiser as we already use clicker training..

There will be a transcript posted within a day or two afterward. If you sign up for the reminder, it will be sent to you.
