There's so much drama going on down below I figured I'd move on to current events.
Due to chewing we've confined Bruno to the kitchen at night. He's even started chewing the rug! Strangely though no furniture. We haven't had as much time to spend with him since Susan started working and Alicia got her license. We do try to play with him at night when we get home.
Susan and I were talking and we can't remember the last time we had an incident like before. She and Bruno would really get into it and that has completely ceased. He isn't much for the furniture/lap but he likes to lay on our feet. He has also completely stopped growling at us when we get off the couch or move downstairs (where we normally congregate for the evening) while he's laying about. In fact, the only time he growls anymore is occasionally while eating. He'll also bark at me when I get up around 3am for work but stops once I turn on the light or call his name. He barks at noises outside in the middle of the night but I want him to do that!
We clipped him down real short. He started getting many knots in his fur while we were in Michigan due to pricky thingy's on my outlaws property. We tried a dematting brush and even scissors but it wouldn't all come out. The temps were really high and so was the humidity so we took his clothes off. He seems allot friskier and happier. If dogs could smile, he does.
He's started the novice training class with Susan. She said he is one of the best behaved in the class. They've used him as the staionary dog while the others did a figure 8 around him and he didn't seem aroused at all. When others were pulling or barking he was fat dumb and happy!
Thanx to those of you still happy for our success with Bruno. We need work but we are making an effort and noticable progress. He's still no Pivo but we really do enjoy having him now.
