new photos of the pups with kangaroos and emus

berocca Aug 28, 2005 05:19 AM

I took Cody round to mums place the other day to play with Maddie, who is finally off her period of rest. They suddenly became quite interested in the kangaroos and emus through my parents back fence so I thought id take some photos for you all.

The first photo has both dogs looking at the emus; the other one is of Maddie watching a roo that thought it would come closer to investigate.

great photos! Cody & Maddie look fairly calm - are they? Do they see these critters alot?

critters on the other side of the fence is my number one problem! of course we are surrounded by lush forest & have had the rainiest summer on record. quite a difference, I'd like to have some of your dry/clear - wanna trade?

hehehe... gladly. We have just had the dryest winter in a long time, as a result most of the country is in drought and there are heavy water restrictions in place.

Maddie sees the animals daily, however, she doesnt usually get the opportunity to go right up to the fence (the back half of the yard is the pool area so it is fenced off). Both dogs are pretty calm though, which is definately a good thing!
