This would seem a very strange question, however, i'll ask anyway! I suppose a quick background first is in order. I havn't visited this site in a LONG while (like since PCF first came over!) but have been around for a long while although on a different log in name for the birds area. Since it's been so long and we've had so many additions i've just gone generic with the screen name.
Anyway, I have an ACD that we deliberately bred and believe to be pregnant. She would right now be 57 days. It is very difficult to tell for sure as she is in very good condition and so doesn't show much at all until she is virtually about to give birth. The last two or three days she's been seen playing and "flagging" my male neutered dog. What is that??? Is this a hormonal thing going on near the end of pregnany??? Has anyone else ever seen this? The pregnancy has not been confirmed by a vet as there is no way they'd examine her without drugs and/or anesthesia so it conceivably could be a false pregnancy or split heat I suppose. Any comments?
