Jessie she's so beautiful! I can't believe how the shepherd in her has taken over, theres almost no catahoula left there at all! She looks like she's gotten pretty big. What does she weigh now? That's too bad about the mange, but you're right, at least it's manageable.. Poor baby, that must be so uncomfortable..

Kaiser spent the night at the vet last week himself. My sister had taken him out for a walk and they were playing fetch with some sticks.. He wasn't on lead, because it's private property and well fenced in.. He went to get a stick and when he came back he had a cut just under his front leg.. He got a couple of stitches and with my dad keeping him busy he barely noticed the vet poking around. They did have to sedate him for the actual stitches though and he stayed overnight because he was groggy when he woke up. They had to muzzle him in the morning because he was quite unimpressed with being in a tiny cage like at the shelter and surrounded by strangers.. poor baby must have thought we'd all abandoned him.. I don't blame him for being snippy..

I'm glad everything is okay with you and Cookie and the bettas.. I just started coming back here recently and noticed you weren't here, started to get worried.. Anyway, I have to continue studying. It's so strange around here now though. Without Kaiser taking up a huge chunk of my time I just don't know what to do with myself. And I coerced Matt into running with me because I got so used to having Kaiser there, I started to feel unsafe without him.. At least with Kaiser I always knew if there were people nearby..

Oh well, hopefully we'll have him "fixed" and back by Christmas..
