I have spent my life wanting a Dane & I am finally to a point where I would like to start preparing for one but would love to read up on the proper raising and care of them. And was wondering if anyone had a good suggestion for a good book for the overall information on all around info on Danes.

Now you know its not gonna take too long when I already know that I want a female & her name is gonna be Lexus (Lexi for short). Hopefully sometime next year!!

Are some colors of Danes that are harder to come by?
I have mostly seen fawns, black, & black-n-whites & two brindles. The one that really caught my eye on the internet I believe may have been a blue meral type? If that is what that coloring is called.
