My name is Julie and I own have a daschound mix. I already post on the Shiba forum and just wanted to get more involved and learn a little more about my daschound. His name is Todd and his brothers name is Copper (the shiba). They get along great, although Todd is always hanging on Copper and yes they fight like brothers. Copper is two years and Todd in one year. Both males. I also have a one year old daughter, Gracie (a human). LOL. I look forward to learning more about my son Todd!

Dear dog,
I can not buy anything larger than a king sized bed. I am very sorry about this. Do not think that I will continue to sleep on the couch to ensure your comfort. Look at videos of dogs sleeping, they can actually curl up in a ball. It is not necessary to sleep perpendicular to each other stretched out to your fullest extent possible. I also know that sticking tails straigt out and having tongues hanging out the other end to maximize space used is nothing more than doggy sarcasm.

What is Todd mixed with? Do you know? Anyway, I'd love to see a pic. Several years ago we got my folks a mini-dachshund puppy. Candy is now 4 years old and such a good girl!

I am not really sure what he is mixed with. I think he is mixed with a chiuaua? Here is a picture of him. What do you think?

Todd is so cute. It does look like he has some chihuahua in him--those eyes!

Hi! Yes, it's a shame this forum isn't more active. I have two male dachshunds. One is a miniature named Chibi and one is a standard named Cooper. I wanted to name him Copper after the Fox and the Hound, but my fiance at the time fought that idea. We settled on the name Cooper.
