Haha if so i am one lucky dude i received a Supposedly tangerine albino male from tremper 1 month ago who was suppose to be 4 months old. well when i opened the box what i was sent was a VERy long and kinda gangly looking gecko. knowing tremper always has healthy stuff i wasn't worried the guy immedialty started destroying mealworms (25 a night for the past month), oh yeah when i got him he was already 7 inches at 4months, He is now 5 months old still looks extremely skinny and is 8.5 inches long haha i may have just lucked out well wait and see if he puts on any body wait before i officially call him and giant im gonna email tremper and see if there was a mix up haha if theres is i just lucked out with a as posted on his site 500 dollar animal for 200.

My male hatchling blizzard from May was that big at 4 months too... He's almost 9 inches now.. his growth has slowed since September but he's putting on weight now.

Hi

I went to Trempers site and looked through his Giant gecko section and he had a question and answer page on them.

Q. = Why do the younger giants appear gangly?.
A. = Like a reticulated python male giants do not put on their heavy body weight until they reach 10".

Another question and answer from that site that might help.

Q. = How can you tell a Giant baby from a normal-sized gecko when they are young?
A. = The purebred Giants really standout when just 4-5" in length. They have a much longer torso and elongated tail compared to a normal gecko of the same age.

Q. = What do you feed your Giants?
A. = They have been raised on 1" pet store mealworms. They have never been given pinkie mice, waxworms or other fatty foods.

Q. = Do the Tremper Giants have any special housing needs?
A. = For the best results house your Giant alone for the first 10 months. Heavier water and food dishes are needed to prevent spillage.

Take Care, TLB
