Vomiting yellow... Think acorn

kerrsbabies Nov 06, 2005 05:30 PM

One of my girlfriends chihuahuas just did this earlier tonight. She threw up twice not too much but it was kind of yellow looked like the inside of acorns how it is yellow. We have A TON in the bACKYARD from this really big tree the wind has been blowing them just everywhere and they are always on the patio area. I have seen her sniff for food as for most chihuahuas love to do and try and nibble on a few a couple times I told her to stop nicely. Could any let me know if theyve seen this

Do not let your dog eat acorns. They are toxic to dogs.

Low blood sugar levels? Are you feeding 3 times a day at least? Chihuahuas can be prone to this problem and throwing up can be a symptom.

Dear dog,
I can not buy anything larger than a king sized bed. I am very sorry about this. Do not think that I will continue to sleep on the couch to ensure your comfort. Look at videos of dogs sleeping, they can actually curl up in a ball. It is not necessary to sleep perpendicular to each other stretched out to your fullest extent possible. I also know that sticking tails straigt out and having tongues hanging out the other end to maximize space used is nothing more than doggy sarcasm.

Is the vomit chunky or pure liquid? If it's liquid, the yellow might be bile, a sign of an upset stomach but not necessarily related to acrons. I hope the dog is okay.
