Buying another book, could use your feedback...

I'm looking for a book on training and behavior modification for advanced/professional trainers and behavioralists.

There was this book and DVD I was researching about Dog Whispering but not sure that's what I want.

Anybody have any suggestions? An indepth book on behavior mod would be great as well.

Any feedback is greatly appreciated.

Aggression in Dogs- Practical Management, Prevention, & Behavior Modification by Brenda Aloff

It's got many practical exercises and teaches a ton about dog language, stress, fear, etc. Hands down one of the best and more helpful dog books out there.

I really want to get the cream of the crop book and/or DVD on canine behavior and behavior mod methods/techniques.

I'm not going to buy anything until I really hear some good things about the product. Price is of no concern pertaining to this.

All the research i've done into finding what i'm looking for has been fruitless. I could use some feedback.

Have you read any of Jean Donaldson's books? I think any trainer should have at least read Culture Clash. She does start it with a real attitude about choke collars, which even annoyed me a bit (I am very anti-choke), but if you can look past that, it's an excellent book and I believe a must read. I haven't read her new book, but it's on my list.

Other authors that I don't hestitate recommending would be Patricia McConnell (sp?), and Pat Miller. Those are the ones that come to mind immediately.

I also think some of the books that address training/medical issues are interesting.
