This may sound elementary, but what are the symptoms of R.I.? Thanks in advance to all that help. William

Generally, the symptoms are:

1. Noisy respiration
2. "Mouth breathing" or "gaping" which is breathing with the mouth open because the nares and sinuses are congested.
3. Mucous discharge from the nares and/or from the glottis and mouth.
4. listlessness
5. loss of appetite
