Hope everyone has been doing well and is enjoying this Christmas season. We have been busy working and dealing with the kids (all species of them). Just wanted to write a quick note and let you know that we have been continueing Bruno's training with the Southern Maryland Dog Club (SMDC) and he is doing OUTSTANDING! Just this past Tuesday he passed the AKC Good Citizenship test. The only part he had trouble with was separating from Eric. When Eric left the room for the three minute separation Bruno cried a little. When the trainer told him to stop he did right away. He is his Daddy's boy. These past few months have been great we rarely have more than a rumble out of him anymore and he listens to EVERYONE in the house now. We are looking into joining the SMDC so that we can continue his training and ours. We not looking in to showing him but continueing everyones training and keeping up his socialization. He has a girlfriend named Penny in the class - they LOVE to play at the end of class time.

Anyway I have a lot to do before tomorrow - just thought I'ld share the good news and wish everyone a Merry Chirsmas.

After all of your trials and tribulations with Bruno this is terrific news! Thanks for posting the update and I hope this upward trend continues for you all. Have yourself a very Merry Christmas and continued success in 2006.

Oh how EXCITING! You should be so incredibly proud of Bruno for passing the CGC. It's a HUGE accomplishment. Good job to all of you!!!!

I love hearing success stories like this. Keep up the good work and keep posting with updates. So much fun!

PS- you will love showing in dog shows once Bruno is ready. Seeing the more "rare" breeds is my favorite part of showing.

Dear dog,
I can not buy anything larger than a king sized bed. I am very sorry about this. Do not think that I will continue to sleep on the couch to ensure your comfort. Look at videos of dogs sleeping, they can actually curl up in a ball. It is not necessary to sleep perpendicular to each other stretched out to your fullest extent possible. I also know that sticking tails straigt out and having tongues hanging out the other end to maximize space used is nothing more than doggy sarcasm.
