Malamute is an Alaskan draft/sled dog, large and powerful, prone to escapism, can be argumentative with other dogs. If by chance you meant to ask about the Malinois, this Belgian Shepherd breed thinks and moves faster than a GSD and is more agile, requiring a handler who works in that same sense of timing. GSDs don't rehome easily--they mourn the loss of the last handler. Malinois make a switch more readily. They also switch gears more quickly when commanded to change from one drive to another. Mals are probably bigger escape artists than GSDs. They are also faster to bite if biting is what they are going to do, but they can stop a suspect without biting in many cases due to their great speed and agility.
