I bet that one would be of interest to some people a rat with no tail .... i bet there would be a market for it ! Becuase think of how many people associate rats with a long scaly tail

Too Cool !! * cuddles it cause its sooo coot*

You could try to market it as the "Dwarf Black Bear Rat" and cross it with other color morph rats. Someone is sure to buy it. lol.

Thats right i got confussed. It sure is cute. It would look wild going down a snakes mouth without a tail. If you feed it off take some pics please.
P.S. Hows my male buddy (ball) doing. Do not get to attached to him. You know you can use him to bred when you want.

My Wife Ran Off With My Best Friend, I Sure Do Miss HIM!!!

joels417 Oct 10, 2003 11:00 PM

I put them back together last night, he started the whole wiggle movement on her again, I have yet to see them breed again, and they are both taking medium rats still. But I think he waits for me to leave and for the lights to go out before he gets his business done.

Either way, Let's keep hoping something good comes out of it.

And I don't know If I can feed the little mouse, I might breed it to another with a shorter tail, until I can get them to all have no tails...

kiddin of course. but he's special...so he only gets fed if he has too...lol

If you keep it as a breeder and if you find any others with no tail keep them as breeders all in one tub together i bet you would get all tailless rats
