dirty ears

my german shepard puppy has a tar like substance that keeps building in his ears the vet cleaned them his first visit and today he was there and they said he was good but tonight he is holding his ear funny. any thoughts on what it could be. he is 13 weeks and weighs 30 pounds. she said he is very healthy and is going to be huge. i am just a little worried about his ear. thanks for any advice

Yeast infection is common in dog ears and they can also get ear mites. Back to the vet!
