I have read alot of messages in this forum asking where to find pit bulls in different areas. Pit Bull Rescue Central (PBRC.net) it is a great resource. We adopted our Pit/American bulldog mix from PBRC over a year ago, and I would highly recommend the website to others. The website also features advice, BSL warnings, and breed related topics. There are so many pit bulls in need of homes, and my heart drops when I hear (or read) about someone purchasing a pit. There are great breeders out there, but they are few and far between. I hope some of you will check out the site and recommend it to anyone interested in the breed.

I bully breed rescue here in FL and I use petfinder.com & 1800saveapet.com to list all of my dogs available for adoption. I currently have MANY wonderful pit bulls (and mixes) available for adoption. I just got a 6 week old black female in last night, she was to be euthanized at a shelter in Orlando. She will be ready for adoption in 3 weeks once she's been spayed & microchipped. *Update on the baby I rescued 3 weeks ago - She's doing great! I have a wonderful home lined up for her already*
