Accidents happen. . . Make sure you let her out to potty a lot. If she continues to do so, though, you might want to have a vet make sure she doesn't have a UTI.

Dogs will work very hard not to soil the area they sleep in. How long was your Chi in the crate? We are talking about a very tiny dog with an even smaller bladder. She may need to relieve herself more often than you think is necessary. BTW...What is your Chi's name? Can you posts a couple of pictures? We would love to see her.

Dear dog,
I can not buy anything larger than a king sized bed. I am very sorry about this. Do not think that I will continue to sleep on the couch to ensure your comfort. Look at videos of dogs sleeping, they can actually curl up in a ball. It is not necessary to sleep perpendicular to each other stretched out to your fullest extent possible. I also know that sticking tails straigt out and having tongues hanging out the other end to maximize space used is nothing more than doggy sarcasm.

people say she doesn't look like one because she has longer legs and her eyes arent as big as other chiuauas. oh well.. i love her

She's a cutie!

She is a cutie!

Thanks for posting the pictures.

Your little one is what some Chihuahua folks call a "deer head" type. Breed standard describes an "apple" head, which is what most folks are used to seeing. My family has had both "apple" heads and "deer" heads, both types are 100% Chihuahua and really it's just an issue if your dog is a show dog or a pet. "Deer" heads are just as great as "apple" heads. Mater of fact none of our deer heads have had molera's, only the apple heads's have had them.
