Hi! New to the forum. I'm an owner of a mini-dacshund named Roux (pronounced ROO). He's 3 years old and is such a momma's boy! Just hoping to find new friends and learn more about the breed!
Thanks!
Jody

Welcome to the forum. your dog is such a cutie pie. i have a 10 month old longhair mini myself. the best way to meet new people on this forum is in the chat room. theres a schedule of different chats going on. its an all breed thing but everyone there is very knowledgable and would love to hear about your doggy.
HI!
Your guy is such a cutie and I LOVE his name! I got my folks a mini doxie several years ago and grew up with them. They are one of my favorite dogs! I want one, but my DH doesn't care for them, so who knows if I will get to own one someday. I haven't given up!

Your message made me smile because my husband has always wanted a Weimaraner and supposedly prefers big dogs. I already had two dachshunds when we met (one mini, one standard) though. Now, just a few short years later, we are married and he absolutely adores our little dogs! We even adopted another small dog together. She's a Corgi mix. Someday I may have to humor him and adopt a Weim, but we'll see.
I love dachshunds though! They are small dogs, but they are still wash and wear.
P.S. This is probably a silly question, but what does DH stand for? I see it used all the time.
DH is short for Dear Husband usually...but the D can stand for Darn, etc.
Roux is adorable! Welcome!
Welcome! I love the pictures and the name!!!! What a cutie!!! What kind of trouble does Roux get into? Those eyes say quite a bit I'm guessing.
