my snake ate some wood chips

7 days agop my female when stricking her rat got some pine chips in the center of her mouth roof. she killed the rat and then was trying to get rid of the chips ,about the size around of a bottle cap. i helped and got maybe half because they were stuck on her teeth. after she calmed down ,about 20 min,she ate the rat. and she seems fine now she ate today to should i be worried?

...Any retained pieces that pass into her gut should be passed without problems. Any pieces stuck in her mouth COULD lead to irritation and subsequent problems. If there is any the snake would probably attempt removal with tongue movements, wiping of her face on the floor/side of cage, etc., but not always.
You might want to feed her in a differant cage or use a paper substrate to avoid future problems. Scott J. Michaels DVM

sounds like she will be shedding soon. it will be a really faint pink, it will look as if the light caught the belly scales and a weird angle too.
