Missing: GSD in Flint, Michigan

Please Cross-post! This is a courtesy listing for Sadie's new mom, Lori and her foster mom, Lori. Both are sick with worry about her.

German Shepherd
Flint,MI
517-881-4244
lncampbell25@comcast.net

Sadie is a 14 month old German Shepherd Dog. She was traveling in the car to go home with her new family. She was also adopted with her brother, LT. They rode in the car in their seatbelts from their foster home (the drive was about 4 hours total). In the driveway, one of the dogs stepped on the seatbelt latch and Sadie got scared and bolted.

Sadie escaped around 4:00pm on Saturday, January 28, 2006, on Alvord between Fenton Rd. and Grand Traverse. Sadie is new to the area and so she is unfamiliar with it and will probably not be able to find her own way home. She is a somewhat shy dog but she is not aggressive. Sadie is a very light sable ... mostly tan with some black on her back and face. By now she is probably very scared, hungry and tired. She should be wearing a red collar, with no tags (they didn't have time to get new ones), and she is not microchipped. She is also not spayed. Please cross post.
Both her new mom and foster mom are worried sick about her. We are thinking maybe somebody picked her up and it's somebody who doesn't read the newspaper or go on the internet, so if there are any Michiganians (??) out there, word of mouth is sometimes the best.
Laura

Here are a couple of pictures of her.

Hi everybody,
Not sure how many people looked to this, but Sadie has been found. She was in the very back of the Animal Control, and the people up front swore up and down that she was not back there, but her owners (both foster and new mom) are very pushy people who love their pets, so they persisted, and a rescue called them up and said "i promise you its her."
After much enticing, they were allowed to go back, and it was her.
She was a bit cage agressive, but after she got out of the cage and the shelter, she was just fine.

She's enjoying a RMB at home right now!
