Rosie is a 1 1/2 year old German Shepard(fixed). She spends a lot of time at my work place with people comning and going. She has a habit of barking and hair standing up; she does this at anything or one. They could be new to her or not. How can I get her to stop it. It scares people and interups the work day. Sometimes she will lison to me and other times she acts like I'm not there. Help!!!!!!!!!!

Just trying to get her to stop it isn't going to work. She needs a whole foundation of training and of social skills, as well as the right genetic temperament for this situation. Temperament is a done deal, but you can work on the other things with a good trainer, behavior specialist, or even in a training class.
