Here's a couple more pics of Wigwag. She comes from NC originally, she's just about 4 and I adopted her a year ago from a friend of a friend who had 2 huskies and just couldn't handle both of them.

If there are no dogs in Heaven, then when I die I want to go where they went.
Good job to you on the rescue! She's wonderful!!!!

Thank you! I don't know if I could really call her a rescue, though. She came from a very good, loving home. The guy wasn't actively looking to get rid of her but I was looking for a husky and his living situation was very dicey so he decided it was best for her. Since then, I've hung out with him and the husky he still has (Daydream) a bunch of times. He obviously misses her but he believes he made the right decision and that both dogs are better off now. It was really rough on him for a while because he was moving frequently which is hard enough with one dog (and these two are totally different when they live together. They're 10 times more behaved separate than they are together.) Overall, it worked out really well for the both of us and even though I had never met him when I got Wigwag, we've become good friends since. It's good to be able to get the 2 girls back together, too. They act like they don't know or like each other in the house but when they escape together it's all over. It took 8 hours to catch them last time and the one other time they got out together we only found them because Wigwag got her 40ft lead wrapped around some trees. We followed the howling until we found her tangled around some bushes and half way submerged in a swamp! After seeing what they can be like together, I can totally understand why he felt he couldn't handle 2 of them anymore. Tough decision to make, but I'm glad he made it.
Yeah... I see it now. Weird perspective on those previous pics. What a sweetheart!
Dude, you need a new digital camera! Or are you scanning photos at low resolution?
Her coat looks really thick. Do you use an undercoat rake? They're great. I highly recommend one.
