hello all, first let me say what a great looking community you have here. my GSD Bullet, is a touch over 2 months old... i know there are many new things for him to be exploring and progress will come at a pace that will take patience and dilligence on my part. but what tips, advice, etc. can you all give me to try to slowly break him of this annoyance... he doesnt go after furniture just likes to nip at hands when being petted, and nip at shoe laces and pant legs while outside walking. any help would be greatly appreciated!

also, if anyone can help me with posting pics, i could use some help there too so i show off my buddy. thanks

Hi, and welcome! Thanks for your kinds words about our community. I have no experience with German Shepherds but I'm sure someone will be along and have some suggestions for you.

Here are some directions that may help you with posting pictures. We would love to see pictures of Bullet.

************************************************************

1. At the top of the German Shepherd Forum page, go to Photo Gallery and then to German Shepherd.

*****You must be signed in to do this.

In the box labeled, Browse, find your photo on you computer, click on it and it will come up in the box.

Below the Browse box, enter a title for you photo. This will help you find your photo for including in a post.

After you've done this, click on UPLOAD/SUBMIT. It will comfirm that your picture was uploaded and you will see the picture.

*****************************************************************

To include a picture with your post, go to the bottom of the posting page to the box that says, Select imagine from Photo Gallery.

You can then preview you post and picture and finally post it.

Hope I didn't leave anything out.

Slowly is exactly the way I do this with my dogs. See my article "Puppy Biting" at the link below my signature. It's non-commercial, and you don't have to register to read things there.
