New owner and dog

Hi, I just recently got a Siberian Husky from an animal rescue center called Stop the Suffering. I've wanted a husky since I was a child so I did a lot of homework and knew what to expect, plus my girlfriend has a 4 year old Siberian Husky. They told me he was 8-10 months old. I was just wondering if some of you could tell me if you think he is full bred or not. I'd like to think he is, but other peoples opinions are nice too. I love him to death already, it's been about two weeks now. He's really settled in. BTW I've named him Volk, which I've been told by a girl that's from Russia is the translation of wolf.

Volk is a handsome fella. Congrats to you! He looks full blood to me. He is parti eyed, has the common clover leaf forehead, curly tail...common husky features!

Volk is beautiful!! And yes, he looks to be pure bred as he has all of the traditional features. Enjoy the heck out of him...our Bella is 15 months old and every day my wife and I tell each other how much joy and happiness Bella has brought into our lives!

Looks right to me. Nice eyes.

Cute little bugger! Enjoy. You're in for a wild ride....

I'm not an expert, but he looks purebred. Either way- very nice looking dog and I'm sure you will have many wonderful years with Volk!
