Has everyone else noticed that the current fad among show breeders (It's been happening for a long while now) is to dock tails significantly longer than they used to?

I like the longer tails. As far as I'm concerned, we could stop docking altogether. But if docking does occur- tails should at least be more than nubs.

Now, if exhibitors would only stop the way they tie up the hair to simulate a chihuahua head. (I'm not fond of the "bubble on the forehead " look.) The way I figure it, hair shouldn't be serving to make a dog look like it has a round head when it has a flat head. By the way - doesn't the standard say: "Head: small and rather flat on top, the skull not too prominent or round."
