spaghetti sauce

dragonpuppy Apr 02, 2006 11:16 AM

my dog has lost interest in eating his dog food. so i started putting spaghetti sauce on it and he eats his food. i put about half a cup of sauce on 3 cups of dog food and mix it up. but what i'm wondering is if i continue doing this will it harm my dog?

Make sure the sauce doesn't have onions in it, since they can be toxic to dogs. I'd recommend sprinkling a little bit of shredded cheese or tiny bits of white meat chicken or a little bit of canned salmon on your dog's food instead.

A tsp of yogurt mixed in the food works well and is good for them as well.

good luck, I have a picky eater as well.
