Compared to a St. bernard, a cavalier should be very easy. However, with that said, no dog really is an "easy" breed. The better way to look at it is does the breed fit your lifestyle? Cavlaliers are friendly, outgoing, and have fun personalities. They require grooming on a daily basis- not extensive, but a brush up as well as the occational trim and ear cleaning. They can be a bit "yappy" so training will be helpful. I'm sure others herewith more experience with the breed will have more to say.
