>>My Italian Greyhound is just sooo skinny. She is active and full of energy. But I can see every muscle and every rib and even her backbones. She eats plenty of high protien puppy food and canned food..She is wormed and has all her shots, very healthy otherwise..I realize these are thin dogs I'd just like to see a little bit more meat on her..Ive seen others and they seem not to be quite as thin as her..

Every time I take a dog to the vet, I ask him to check the dog's condition to tell me if the weight is okay, too high, or too low. He can feel things I cannot, such as how much fat is around the internal organs, muscle condition, etc. I highly recommend doing this. If you're concerned now, take the dog in just for this check up. You don't want to make her too fat, either, especially during growth.
