On Saturday my 3 year old male chihuahua was shaking really bad, not eating and hiding from everyone. I was not sure what to do or what could be wrong so I took him to the vet. The vet looked him over and thought that maybe it was some tummy upset or a bit of gas and gave him some anti inflammatory and some pain meds and told me to bring him back in if by Sunday he was still this way. Sunday morning he was fine and back to himself. Monday he was still good and fine. Today though he woke up with the same thing. He is shaking really badly, whining softly, not eating, wanting to cuddle and gagging and almost throwing up but he stops himself. Called my vet and we are taking him back in at noon. But he was just out in the yard to go potty and he lifted his leg to pee and nothing came. Anyone have any idea what could be go on with my little baby? He lives with his sister....I live in my parents basement suite and they own his sister. They are always together so if it was his food or something he got into she would show signs too I would think. I will be taking him to the vet very soon, but I was hoping maybe someone could shed some light on this before then...I am so worried about him.
