This is my eskie he is so cute and kind of crazy but he is so playful and sweet, he was not well socialize by his previous owner so he is agressive towards strangers.

Your Eskie looks great! I think they are beautiful dogs. Before getting my Shiba Inus I was doing research into obtaining an Eskie.

why did you decided on shiba, they look very nice too but what especifically made you pick them.

I have always had two dogs almost all of my life. I was doing research into a companion dog for my Springer mix when my other dog died. I was looking into getting a dog that was different. Something that I had never had before and also one that would be a challenge. I actually was thinking about a JRT but started doing research on the Eskie instead. While looking at a dog site I came upon a picture of a Shiba Inu and started reading about them. I knew then this would be the dog I was looking for. They are quite different...almost cat like in their behavior. The are very independent dogs who think the world revolves around them. They are just the challenge I was looking for.
