WOW! I was going to post this with the discussion i started yesterday, But i cant figure out how to send it to ALL instead of one person, but I thought everyone would be thrilled to know
I ONLY HAD TO WAKE UP ONCE LAST NIGHT!!! AAAHHHH!!!
Thank you everyone so much for your ideas, relations, and suggestions.. Here's what happened.
* Instead of excersizing her at night, before bed, I made the most active part of her day the morning and afternoon, this was she was uo for a few hours all day, and the rest of the day was in sleep mode
* During the day, as a playful excersize, I lured her in and out of the crate with toys, snacks, and.. myself.. played with her in it, rewarded her for quiet time in it, and eventually ( after many playful activities) left her in it for 5 minutes, and she layed down and relaxed!
* Instead of putting her in the crate fully alert and awake, I waited until she was napping by the couch, then stuck her in there half asleep, so she fell asleep worry free
* When she woke up to go potty, she just cried a little, instead of the howling and yelping, which i think is because shes bonded with us, and because she's more used to the crate.
* When she had to go back in, instead of comforting her by putting my fingers in the crate and talking, I ignored her.. and within 3-4 minutes, she was sound asleep!
Yes!!! And she slept a solid 4 1/2 hours before having to go out, and only woke up again at 7am, which is when i get up anyway, so that makes it only 1 TRIP OUT!
Sorry to freak out, I'm just so energized from sleeping a full night
There is hope after all. Hope everyone's having a lovely day, all I hear is the sound of music in my head ( The hiillllsss are alllliiivveeee) , I want to dance around
