I am thinking about the use of adequan for Lace. She is in good health and pretty active for an old girl.She is now showing signs of weakness in her back legs .Sloppyness,tough getting up and slow to sit or lay down,somtimes I can see the pain in her face as she goes down. She has been on a daily dose of Deramaxx for about 9 months( this was origanilly for the arthritis in her shoulders that are ok). and just in the past month I see this change in the back. The cost is not an issue for this sweetheart. I am more concerned for her comfort.I would like to know if anyone has used it and How their dogs have responded to the pain after injection(soarness).And after the 4week/8 injection treatment how long does it last befor you have to do it all over again.
