I have some silicon smudges on my acylic tank. Anyone know a safe way to get them off with melting the plexi?

If it is "soft" rubbery silicone, then you should be able to rub a thumb over it with some pressure and pick up an edge and roll it off like a pencil eraser.
If it is something like Goop - then it is probably permanent.

no this is just the rubbery silicon that is used in caulk guns....it isn't thick enough to roll up. It is just smudges. What chemicals can I use that wont hurt the acrylic? I have nail polish remover(with acetone), and naptha. either of those?

take a cotton cloth (dry) such as an old wash cloth and rub the smudges until they are gone.
