She had her first litter on Saturday June 3. Four male puppies all doing great. But I am worried about mommy. She has eaten very little since the delivery. And today she seems week and won't eat anything. What can I do? Need help A.S.A.P. Hope you all can help....God Bless

Well, it's now too late for my little girl. But now the real work is on for me. I need all the info and help I can get for these 4 little guys. They are only 5 days old. And now I am their only link to survival. So I need help A.S.A.P.... Thank You all and God Bless

I'm really sorry to read this post. Were you able to get the mother to the vet? What caused her demise?

As for the puppies, there is a milk substitute that you can buy at many pet stores and you are just going to have to bottle feed them ever few hours as the mother would have. Knowing why the mother died though could potentially save the puppies. If she had a disease, that could have been passed to the puppies. This really is not somthing that anyone who can't see the problem can help with unfortuantley. There are just too many factors that need to be addressed to be truely effective.

You need to talk with your vet and have an experienced Chi breeder working with you. Have you been in touch with these folks?
