My Chani is about 9 months old now and today I noticed that she was bleeding. It looks like she is menstrating. Is this normal is such a young dog? If it is how long should it last?

9 months is actually not young for huskies. Ours had her first heat when she was 6 months old. The actual heat period last couple months, but the actual bleeding is only for about 2 weeks. Or at least this was our experience.
