Crepitus (popping) in the back?

fur_momma Jun 20, 2006 11:41 AM

My Daddy is very worried... Yesterday I was sitting next to him and Mommy, and Mommy put her hand on my back, to rub it, and she felt a popping/cracking sensation under her hand.
It was just to the left of my spine, right at the point of my lowest ribs. I don't know if that makes sense. But Mommy put her left hand on my back, and her pinky touched my lowest rib.

Anyway, does any one have an idea what that could be? It doesn't stop me from barking or howling... I do have a limp on my front right leg, as well as my back left (my new hip), so Mommy thinks it could be tendonitis or muscles.

Daddy thought it was cracked ribs. He took me swimming with my new life vest, he used to help me in and out of the water.

Unless there's any pain, it's probably not a problem. My knees and ankles pop when I bend them. There's nothing wrong, according to my doctor. Who knows?
