I am looking into getting a Saluki within the next 5 years and thought this would be a good place to check since they are used regularly as coursing dogs.

I'm hoping to find a good breeder and build a relationship with them before I actually plan on getting this new dog. puppy or retired show dog/breeder would be find as I have experience with both puppies and older dogs.

Since I'm not looking to get it right away (in fact not until my dane mix passes) I know i have plenty of time to find a breeder, but it seems that I am running into nothing but problems. I can only find one breeder in Canada that seems anyway decent, so if anyone knows any breeders I would greatly appreciate it

Have you tried contacting any of the officers with the Saluki Club of America? They may be able to point you in the right direction. Good luck with your search.
