Hi everyone,
We have a 5 year old female chihuahua who does not like other dogs.
After talking with lots of people about the wisdom of adding another dog to our family, we have decided to bring home an 8 week old, female, English Springer Spaniel.We are looking for good suggestions on methods of introducing the dogs to each other and also ways to help our 5 year old adjust to the new pup.

It would be safer for your female if you got a male instead of a female. As far as ways to introduce and manage them, you'll find a lot on that at the link below my signature.
