Hi. I'm wondering if anyone had this issue. My frenchie has gotten these itchy bumps/scabs on her body - she had them last year as well - the vet didn't know what they were so she was given steriods which completely affected her moods and energy. It has been quite hot and she seems to get them during the summer. Does anyone know if it is just a heat rash and if there is an OTC medicine, preferably topical, i could put on the spots?

Go see a holistic vet! They are wonderful. The one I went to knew so much more than the regular vets I had been to. They know more ways to treat problems. Regular vets rely waaaaaay too heavily on steroids and antibiotics. Holistic vets know ways of treating problems that are much safer. Check out the "Ask the holistic vet" forum, too.
