picky eater?

I have a year and a half old giant day gecko. Lately i've been changing his diet a little bit. I used to feed him mainly crickets, but lately i've been hand feeding him baby food, fruit and different worms. After about 2 or 3 weeks without crickets i gave him about a dozen or so and he doesn't even really look at them now. He used to immediately lunge at them when i dropped them in. Is something wrong, or is he just not hungry?

Adult day geckos do not need much food. 5-6 crickets per week are plenty for a P. mad. grandis. Baby food and the like is very rich in energy and if you give that , they won´t be very hungry.
Take care not to overfeed them, day geckos rtend to become obese upon excessive feeding!

Hope that helps

Ingo
