wet egg??? need help quick

topacelot Oct 09, 2003 11:58 PM

don't know what to do...my first crested egg of a pair (layed at the same time) hatched about a week and a half ago....the second of the pair hasn't hatched and the past couple days it's had droplets of water on it...I've dried it off...the other two eggs incubating are so far ok and don't have condensation on them...

don't know if I should break into the egg? do ppl do that? I figure if it keeps getting watery, it will mold...

only heard from one person that his pairs of eggs that are laid at the same time hatch within 24 hrs of each other...anyone else have other results

really want to know what to do...???

thx

The moisture your seeing on the egg is probably "egg sweat"

Look for your second egg to hatch within the next 2 days or so. My second egg from a clutch was about a week behind the other.
