Hello, I'm new to this forum. My 11 month old Chi named Dolly started her first estrus 2 days ago. I've never had an intact female before (or any dog for that matter). I plan on breeding her when she gets older. Anyway, I was wondering how long her estrus will last (I've read 21 days) and if they bleed the whole time. Any help will be appreciated.

Sorry, I'm not a breeder and am not knowledgable in this area. Please, please find a good breeder to mentor you in this. Especially if you intend to breed her. Chi's have health defects and temperment to be carefully considered in any breeding plan.
