I'm getting a Doberman puppy and I'm having a hard time finding a vet that will crop his ears. Can anyone give me a name of a vet in NJ that does good work? Thanks for your help!

I can't help with vet part and I don't have a Dobe but I have always liked the natural ears myself. If you do find a vet to crop the ears... ask to see some of their work and only go with the very best. There are some awful looking cropping out there in some Dobes from those not knowing what they are doing. Good Luck!

If there are no dogs in Heaven, then when I die I want to go where they went.
This vet does *beautiful* work. She crops many, many of the litters produced by show breeders on the eastern seaboard.

Be very very careful who you go to. I had a bad experience and it took lots of time and money to correct my pups ears. The best advice I can give you is go to cyberdobes.com click on contact subscribe to cyberdobes (its free) then email the list and you will get tons of response with in minutes of many experience people that know a lot about the breed and where you can go. Don't do what I did get lots of advice and you will do the right thing for your pup.
Good Luck
Hilda

I'm coming in late on this but I hope you contacted Sophia Koster - she did both of my show Dobes ears.
